MISSION STATEMENT
Integrated Business Systems, Inc. is committed to providing the highest quality products and service to its customers at a competitive price! The fulfillment of this commitment insures customer satisfaction with IBS and enables us to grow our business, which, in turn, allows for the development and expansion of employee opportunities.
Quality Products IBS currently represents 3 primary product lines.
1. Canon Copiers - Canon has been the number one copier vendor in the U.S. in terms of unit placements for twenty-one (21) of the past twenty-two (22) years! 2. Okidata Facsimile - Okidata is known today for its computer printers, as well as facsimile equipment. Okidata's five (5) year print head warranty is the best in the industry! 3. MBM - MBM provides the finest quality office equipment products - Destroy-it paper shredders, Triumph paper cutters, paper folders, and other paper handling equipment.
Quality Service Our factory-trained service technicians average over 14 years of experience with IBS! Our service objective is to respond promptly (within 4 hours, if not sooner) to all customers who are "down", and to get them operational as soon as possible. Other calls are prioritized and handled within one business day, and are typically completed on the initial call.
Competitive Pricing We do not attempt, or profess, to be the cheapest or "low-cost" supplier. That is virtually impossible when providing the highest quality products and service. However, we will be price competitive and guarantee you value for your investment!

HISTORY OF INTEGRATED BUSINESS SYSTEMS, INC.
|
Integrated Business Systems, Inc. (IBS) originated in the
mid-1950's as A.B. Dick Products of Muncie, an exclusive
distributor of A.B. Dick Company products in East Central
Indiana. For many years that was the sole activity of the
company. Primary emphasis was on the sale and service of
duplicating equipment, including small printing presses.
During the mid-1960's the product line grew to include
electrostatic copiers, which provided our initial entry into the
copying world. A.B. Dick added plain paper units in the late
'70's. Then, in mid-1981, a dealership arrangement was
reached with Canon USA to market the NP120 and NP400.
This quickly grew into a full line Canon copier dealership
which we remain today. In fact, IBS has been the only full-
line Canon Copier Dealer in East Central Indiana since 1982.
As other developments occurred within our organization, we
made the decision to change our name to Integrated Business
Systems, Inc., effective April 1, 1992. Today, in addition to
Canon copiers, we also market and service Okidata facsimile
machines and MBM's Destroyit paper shredders and other
related products. However, Canon multi-functional copying/
print products are by far the most significant aspect of our
business, accounting for more than 75% of our annual
revenues.
Our market area has traditionally encompassed an area
approximately 60 miles in circumference with Muncie, IN the
hub of the wheel. Other significant areas include the cities of
New Castle, Anderson, Marion, and Richmond, as well as
smaller municipalities. Our market strengths include
education, religion, and associations, as well as commercial
accounts. In recent years as the copier marketplace evolved
from analog to digital technology, IBS has also transitioned to
support additional capabilities such as printing, networking
and imaging.
The company has had various owners over the years, under
differing structures. However, the company as it presently
exists is an Indiana corporation, formed in October, 1977,
with the present ownership in place since 1988.
